//WedJun 17 · 3pm PT / 6pm ET
Starts Wed June 17, 2026 · 3:00–6:00 PM PT / 6:00–9:00 PM ET · Zoom

Build and ship a real web app in one evening with Claude Code.

Three hours, live on Zoom, six seats. Your kid sets up a real engineering environment, builds a personal web app with the same AI tool professional software engineers use every day, and walks away with a live URL they can text their friends.

No coding experience needed. Taught by Kev Gary, founder of Claude Camp.

01 / What you'll build

A real personal web app. Live on the internet. Yours forever.

Build Day isn't a tutorial sandbox. Every student leaves with a working web app deployed to a public URL — the same kind of app working engineers ship for real clients.

01

Set up like an engineer

Terminal, GitHub, Claude Code — the same toolkit professional software engineers use every day, installed on your kid's MacBook in the first 15 minutes.

02

Build the site together

Walk through the build with Kev: pick a layout, choose colors and styling, write the content, all driven by Claude Code prompts. Your kid is the director.

03

Add their own feature

In the final hour, every student invents and ships their own feature: a guestbook, a meme generator, an embedded game, a music player, whatever they dream up.

02 / Schedule

Starts Wed June 17, 2026. Then every Wednesday.

Sessions run weekly on Zoom starting June 17, 2026. Pick the Wednesday that works for you at checkout. Reschedule any time up to 24 hours before your session, free.

03 / Who it's for

Curious teens with a Mac. That's the only filter.

Designed for ages 13–19. No coding experience required — Build Day starts from terminal-not-yet-opened and ends at deployed-to-the-internet. Mac preferred (Claude Code is smoothest in the macOS terminal) but Windows works fine too. Parents welcome to observe; we encourage it for younger students.

This is not a passive lecture. Every student does the work on their own machine. Six seats means Kev sees what every student is building and can step in when someone gets stuck. Curiosity and a working laptop are the only prerequisites.

  • Ages 13–19 · middle school and high school
  • Mac preferred · Windows works fine
  • No prior coding experience needed
  • Parents welcome to observe
  • Pre-session setup checklist sent 48 hours ahead
04 / Instructor

Taught by Kev Gary, founder of Claude Camp.

Kev has spent 10+ years as a professional software engineer at big-tech companies across Silicon Valley, and the last two years using Claude exclusively, in and outside of work. He runs the flagship 2-day Claude Camp intensive. Build Day is the same craft level, scaled to one evening for teens.

05 / Pricing

One seat. One price. No tiers.

Build Day is intentionally simple. No discounts, no upsells, no waitlist mechanics. Pick a Wednesday, pay, show up.

06 / FAQ

Questions parents (and students) ask.

Who is this for?
Build Day is designed for ages 13–19 — middle school and high school students who are curious about coding but don't need any prior experience. No coding background is required. Parents are welcome to observe the session, and several do.
What does my kid walk away with?
A working personal web app they built themselves with Claude Code, deployed live to the internet at a public URL they can share with friends and family. Plus the setup (terminal, GitHub, Claude Code) and the muscle memory to keep building new things on their own afterward.
Do they need a Mac?
Yes. Mac is preferred (Claude Code runs in the terminal — a reasonably recent MacBook is the smoothest setup) but Windows works fine too. We send a pre-session setup checklist 48 hours before the session so your kid (or a tech-savvy adult helping them) can install the tools ahead of time. If anything snags, we sort it in the first 15 minutes of the session.
How does the 3-hour session run?
Quick setup sanity check (~15 min). Build the personal web app together using Claude Code, with Kev walking through prompts, styling decisions, and deployment (~90 min). Then in the final hour, every student adds a custom feature they invent themselves — a guestbook, an embedded game, a gallery, a music player, whatever they want. Last 10 minutes everyone shares their live URL.
What's the schedule and group size?
Every Wednesday starting June 17, 2026 · 3pm PT / 6pm ET · Zoom. Sessions cap at 6 students so every kid gets real attention during the build. Pick which Wednesday works for you at checkout.
Refund and reschedule policy?
Full refund and free rescheduling up to 24 hours before session start time. Just reply to the confirmation email or reach out via the Book a Call link and we'll handle it.
Can my kid keep building after the session?
That's the whole point. They leave with a working setup, an account with Claude, a live web app they can keep editing, and an understanding of the same Claude Code workflow professional engineers use every day. Several Build Day students keep shipping side projects on their own — that's the best outcome.
Is this affiliated with Anthropic?
No. Claude Camp is independent — built by Kev Gary, a software engineer who's been using Claude Code in daily professional work since it launched. Anthropic is the company that makes Claude.
